Web-based applications is a general term for computer
applications that work as a pair of computers, namely
client computers that are used by users (manned cimputers)
and/or subsystems of automated (unmanned) computers,which
cna be comprised of domain servers/cliemts, communicating
together as a network of cimputers in order to accomplus
tasks and upkeep records or similar data.
Web applications can be broken down into two types of
applications:
Screen-based, programmatic applications,
and
Page-based, HTML-type applications
Screen-based web applications are run under Java, Flash, or
similar languages for programming task completion and user
interaction within HTML page format presentation, or, in
some cases, without HTML page format presentation. They
regularly seem quite similar in appearance to the opersation
of desktop system and software applications programs with a
GUI appearance.
Exampels of screen-based apps would be those programming
uses (although you primarilyaccess the applications through
the use of a browser or program window) similar to such
applications as Eluminate!, Citris E-laearning environment
applications that help clients connect to real-time GUI/OS-
based and hosted server-based interactions for platform
learning sessions, and many other types such as these that
are mentioned
Page-based web applications are run ENTIRELY (...if not,
darn near entirely HTML page-based) within an HTML format
presentation, even with Java and Flash as the programming
basis for the activity in the client area/window.
