Apache YARN (Yet Another Resource Negotiator) is a resource management layer of Hadoop 2.x that aims to provide better resource utilization by decoupling resource management from job scheduling in the Hadoop ecosystem. It allows multiple workloads like batch, interactive queries, stream processing etc., to share resources efficiently.
