Apache Ambari offers a series of life cycle commands to manage Hadoop services: 1. INSTALL - Installs the specified service on all hosts in the cluster. 2. UPGRADE - Upgrades the specified service to a newer version on all hosts in the cluster. 3. START - Starts the specified service on all hosts in the cluster. 4. STOP - Stops the specified service on all hosts in the cluster. 5. RESTART - Restarts the specified service on all hosts in the cluster.
