ideally QA should be involved inSDLC ,right from the
requirement phase, so that requirement review phase can be
carried out in the most beneficial way.

Actually QA and Tester is two different role and
resposibilty.QA process is implented from bigning of
project but Tester is involved at developent phase when
build is ready to release for testing.

Once the BRS/Frs released to the testing department tester
involved in testing.
BRS/FRS released after Intial/Analysis/Designed Phase
At the same time BRS/FRS released to Development and
testing departments.
U can say after received FRS menas Testing Phase.

The tester actually involves in testing in the testing stage
(i.e after coding) in SDLC once the BRD and SRS/FS is given
to the testing team they start testing and they end up till
the completion of SDLC

analysis onwards.....but the main burden starts from when
the coding phase has been completed and ready to release
