What 'is the earth fault
Answer / Sania Zehra
An Earth Fault is an electrical fault that occurs when there is a direct connection between the live (phase) wire and the ground in an electrical circuit. This can cause a short circuit, leading to potential damage or safety hazards. In single-phase systems, earth faults are usually classified as Phase-to-Neutral Earth Fault (PNEF) or Phase-to-Earth Fault (PEF).
