Low pressure gradient means Mobile phase mixing occurred before the pump
High pressure gradient means Mobile phase mixing occurred after the pump

High pressure gradient means each pump having one channel.mobile phase moving in the channels with high pressure.
Low pressure gradient means one pump having all channels.so the mobile phrase moving with low pressure.
