I have 3 1000 kva single phase transformers and I wish to replace them with one three phase transformer. What is he kva rating of the new three phase, is it 1000 kva also or 3000 kva.

you need to install 1000KVA transformer..because we show the rating every where is of single phase current so three secondary winding also have same 1000KVA capacity.

in transformers for ex. 100mva and 400kv the secondary current is about 420 amps but for selection of bushing the capacity of selected bushing is 2000A why there is such big difference ?
if field winding of synchronous generator are shorted on each other will it start or burn or run for short time like induction motor
