I do not have VB6 installed anymre so this is not as detailed as it once could have been.

Create a DAO (data access object) for your access database. this is done in the administrateor panel in windows.

Then in VB use ADO objects to access the data through the DAO you created. THere is lots on the on the internet about ADO objects and how to use them
