Volume booster is  using where we need quick opning of valve or where big dom which need more air volume for operating valve in time

Volume booster is for quick opening/Closing of shut of valves,
Quick Drain (vent) valves (QDV) for quick Closing of shut of valves.
Generally QDV'S are used for drain valve applications (air to close applications)
