1 : Power Factor correction capacitors
2 : Improve the load percentage of particular equipment
avoid habbits of using lightly loaded machines which
results large power consumptions i.e.wastage of power .
3: Try using energy savings equipments example in fan
regulator (TRIAC) are used which results it dosent depends
upon the fan speed it will give the same amount of power at
all the times while in old regulator where rehostat are
used which results wastage of power.
Improving power factor is nothing but saving energy
consumptions!!!

There are three different methods through which we can improve the power factor,
1. Capacitor (It is used in APFC Panel)
2. Synchronous condenser
3. Phase advancers (It is used for large rating of motors)

How does a VOLTAGE OPERATED DIFFERENTIAL RELAY work??
This is about the recent problem that we have faced in our project site. We have 6/7.5 MVA. 66/11kV three phase star - star power transformer. The neutral was solidly connected to the earthing mat. But because of high resistance of earthing mat (130 ohm on LV and 180 ohm on HV), one day LV side neutral earthing conductor melted and we had a huge damage. Can any one plz tell me what might happen when we connect power transformer neutral to the earthing mat which has high resistance (>100 ohm ) ?????
