In 3ph motor three winding are 120°electrical apart but in case of capactor motor. 1) phase spliti 90°by capacitor ie. 3/4 of NS. 2) generdly Poles are more than 3ph motor. these are may why capacitor fan run siow.

Assumed CAUSES R=>

1.Weak Capacitor
2.Raise its value to 3.15Mfd (Oil type)
3.Use Magger to check insulation
4.Conduct series testing.
5.Make new rewinding.

* The R.P.M will not exceed 1500*
