what is the difference between mho characteristics and
quadrilateral chara in distance protection
Answer / lokesh
even i am not clear , but it might have to so something with
respect to the area of the mho when compared to are of quad
characteristic , for the given setting mho charac has less
area when compared to quad charc , so it can cover wide
range of imp more than mho , also another main advantage is
the variable resistive reach , in case of mho resistive
reach is fixed with respect to zone reach and in quad u can
change resistive reach coverage irrespective of Zone reach
