Im mathematics, we always look for constant variables.
In communications, we use c for the speed of light in a
vacuum.
The same can be said here. If your speed is the same with
evey test, you have created a constant to compare your
findings with different types of motors, brands, etc.
If we compare all the data, speed should be a constant, so
voltage, torque, or temperature can be evaluated on
a 'level' playing field. (depending on the nature of your
devices)
