check will be issued
by an account holder and whereas DD can be issued by a
banker only Cheque may get rejected due to lot many
reasons....but DD will not get rejected.

(1) Cheque can drawn by account Holder, but DD can be drawn by bank on behalf of account holder.
(2) Cheque has chance to dishonour than DD.
