Concrete's best strength rating is in compression, as in equal force from either side. Its weakest rating is in its shear strength, as in force in different areas like snapping a pencil in your hands. To increase concretes shear strength, re-inforcing steel bar is used because of its high shear strength characteristics.

While calculating quantity of cement required for 1 qubic meter If mix is m25 1:1:2 =4 1.52/4=0.38, 0.38x1440=547.20 kgs I know 1440 is unit weight of cement And what is 1.52 ? And some one using 1.54 and 1.53 etc... Why they are using can u explain me what is 1.52, 1.53, 1.54?

As per Kandal suggestions, we have implemented rolling starts on 140 (+/- 5) degrees and we kept 3 rollars to complete the rolling before falling 125 degrees and the Aggregate AIV is below 22. But When the DBM bed is being rolled 3rd high viabration, (Before 1 plain & low ,2 high Viabrations), the aggregate is getting sharp edge agg. projections are damaged. As the literature is said that, the VG-30 Grade having better control the temp. susceptibility than Penetration grade. if so we could not get this problem at site. But we are facing on site. let me know.
