The place where I live is not covered by DHL.So in order to
get an expedite delivery of the SEVIS receipt I ordered the
delivery to the address of one of my friends.Everywhere else
however a different address(the one mentioned in my
passport)is however mentioned.Can this fact affect my
chances of getting a F1 VISA?

Hi, I have a L1B filed by my employer which is valid till 10/10/10. I quit my employer few months back and the L1B is not valid. I am planning to take up Higher studies in US and apply for F1 Student visa. I am concerned that being in India, will I be able to apply for F1 with L1B valid till 10/10? I believe i need to cancel the L1B and I am wondering how to proceed with the cancellation. Please advise!

hello i am nandu... my acadamic % is 61.09 n GRE - 910 , toefel -63 i hav applied for visa in july n got rejected .. n then again i applied in august n got rejected again... n da reason was "not going 2 return bak 2 india" ... for the two times i hav booked da slot through EMERGENCY slots... so now there is no chance for me to buk da slot in emergency... so for the 3rd time can i book the slot through normal slot?? if yes,i hav tried booking the slot through normal but its showing an error message stating dat "interview appointments are not currently available.. please check bak in 24hours.f u hav an urgent need to travel,please consult emergency appointment on this site.." so can any plzz give me a suggestion that how can i book my slot for the 3rd time in normal slots...

I could not able to produce empl ID card..howerver I showed visa officer a letter from manager. I passed my 10th ( CBSE ) in 1998 ( 76% marks ).I did a Three Year Engineering Diploma in Computer Science in the period 2002 - 2005 ( 83% marks ).I did National Open School 12th Standard in 2009 - 2010 with Eng,Phy,Chem,Bio,Maths as subjects ( 84% marks ).I have Academic Gap in the period 1998 - 2002 and 2005 - 2009 as I was involved in family run small scale business.Now I plan to do Undergraduate Degree in Business in the U.S.A.I am now 28 years old.Will the Academic Gap affect my chances to get admission ?

Im Vishal..I did my undergrad at anna university, chennai (2005-2009).. My UG percentage is 63% and i had 12 backlogs which i cleared by the end of the 7th semester..My gre score is 1250 and toefl 103...I have also been given a tuition waiver of 6000usd which is mentioned on my i- 20..Will i face visa rejection due to my acads?Im sure i wont have issues regarding the finances...please care to give in your replies...got my interview this 3rd..thank you..
1.i applied to only one universtity,i got my admisssion when i say this to visa officer,when VO asks me, will it make appear in good sense, because i have only 65% in UG and low TOEFL score? PLS give me your suggestion
