Crank length= 1.42*d(Here d is dia of the end hook of the rod)

the crank length of rod may
be provided full length of
beam.but in practical due to
some critical the crank length
from top 0.67*depth of beam
and from bottom crank
0.335*depth of beam..
Example the beam dim is
230*456mm the crank length
is 300mm for top and 150mm.
