After release the application to the client, if any type of
defects occurred then it is called defect leakage.

Test leakage is one where in the QA has missed the bug while testing it into the testing environment, and when the product is moved into customer place, i.e while doing UAT, the customer catches the same bug which has been missed by QA.

As a tester I found a show stopper(critical defect) this evening whereas the project is going to be delivered to the client tomorrow morning so there is no time left.I reported the same to my test manager but he is not ready to convinced with me moreover he wants to close the matter as it is....in this senario wat will u do???
