i wanna know that star point in transformer becomes as a
neutral on secondary side now tell me that how is that
possible?because if joit the all three winding ends with
each other it can b short circuited.dut it doesn't.WHY?pls
Answer me in brief.thanks alot
Answer / msd3ban
no ur understanding of the neutral connection is wrong.
See short circuit occurs when u short all the wires or phases
at both the ends
But what is done in star connection is that only one end from
each phase is taken and shorted to give you the neutral point.
The remaining three ends( one of each phase) goes as a part
of secondary winding
