Company A owns 40% of the stocks in the XYZ corporation. company B ownz 15000 shares. company C own..

Answer / ritesh agrawal

let assume total no of shares = x
A owns : 0.4x
B owns : 15000
C owns : 1.25(o.4x)
so,
x=o.4x+15000+1.25(0.4x)
if we solve then
X=150000
A owns : 0.4*150000= 60000

a= 40%
b=15000 share
c have 25% more share than a

a=40% c=50% b= 10%(15000)

15000 divide by 10 then multiply by 40= 60,000
