Can we use smart identification in Keyword Driven

smart identification is nothing to do with any approach
it is the way the qtp will recoginize the objects
so it can be used in any approach
to use the smart idenfication
we have to go to tools->object identification
and enable the smart identication chekc box and decfine the
the base filetr properties and optional filter properties
when qtp cant identified the object formthe learned object
propeties it will make use of the smart identifcation
properties and recognizes it
if it cant it will dispaly an erro msg in the result window

An object is non standard object, i mapped it to standard object, eventhogh on mapping to standard object i cannot use the methods available on the standard object with the mapped object. Hi, I am using 2 excel sheet.First excel sheet works fine with the script, if it opens the 2nd excel sheet,it works fine,but after finish all the rows it is giving the following error in the following line. InValid Procedure call or argument Line (178): "Browser("name:="&result,"application version:=internet explorer 7").Page ("title:=bgt.*", "index:=0").WebList ("name:=SearchType","html id:=Select1","location:=0").Select SearchType1". I have seen a web article says that,If we use any vbscript friendly name it may gives the above error-Invalid procedure call or argument not sure,Am I using any VBScript frienlyName? in the above line?
