Metrics are classified into 2 types :-
1. Process metrics : A metric used to measure the
characteristic of the methods, techniques & tools employed
in developing implementing & maintaining the software
system.
2. Product metrics : A metric used to measure the
characteristic of the documentation & code characteristic.
