Wow, this is some forum to look into and have a hearty laugh
at the comments people pass around. The answer to the
original question posted in the first post can be as simple
as go to qualityvista.com website, download the content
matter from there and practice on your own on a downloaded
demo version of QTP. Some additional knowledge in VB
scripting may help but not necessary. Instead this post has
been turned into flame wars with comments ranging from every
where but the subject originally asked.
When will you all grow up!

Let's make thing very simple.Since i know nothing is
imposible if someone has decided to do as i believe
SUCESS=INTENT+EFFORT+GRACE,
So my friend if you want to understand thing clearly do
followings
1>Dont confuse yourself just downloadthis pdf n go through
you will get exposure of using QTP Tool,I repeat only tool
not Scripting,

2> Then you want to master Script.I mean VB scripting. And
if you feel Scripting is fine slowly move to Descripting

If you have installed QTP in your machine, you can use it's
help file also instead of downloading pdf.

Hi Dear....
Well I am also new to QTP Automation testing.
What I am following u can follow the same...
I am practicing QTP as per the Help guide given in the tool
itself .
There is 1 sample application too..
what u cn do
u cn open QTP there is a button for record the sample
application and try to analyse the code used...this is how
u cn learn scriping...and keep going...
1c this is done u cn gor for major scripting....

And for all those people who feel English is poor-
Respected people English is fine it is just the way u are
taking it,,,,

Specially to u Mr Abhi- irrespective of Indian or some
other nationality learn some basic ettiquates to talk in
public forum if u really dono..

1 more thing Mr Sir u have written the Question in Caps
that gives bad impact to third person of yours...thats it...

WOW,too many answers for one staraight forward question,
interesting, too much ing,badmouthing and what's not!
This was the first time I entered into this session shock
to see one running over other, hmm am too far away from you
guys but dissapointed when Abi said "I know Indians have an
accent" that's not true dude, being an Indian and hold
dual citizenship of other country I personnaly did alot.
Taking positive out of it we are alot better than anyone
else.. well never mind its a very good session window try
to use in a proper way guys. one friendly suggestion to
person who urge for the answer refer some of the link
provided by the participants and better off seeking some
crash courses to get live experience.. hey sorry to bore
you guys with my leture(plz pass comments on my notes if
anyone interests)
