TON OF REFRIGERATION IS RELATED TO HOW MANY TO TONNES OF
ICE A REFRIGERATION UNIT CAN PRODUCE IF IT RUNS FOR AN HOUR
OR A DAY. TO PRODUCE COOLING EFFECT THE VAPORISED
REFRIGERANT SHOULD BE EFFECTIVELY COMPRESSED TO MAKE IT
INTO A LIQUID AND AT THE SAME TIME HEAT SHOULD BE SENT TO
THE ENVIRONMENT. SO TO INCREASE THE TON OF REFRIGERATION
COMPRESSOR SHOULD BE OF EFFECTIVE TYPE AND IT WILL ABSORB
MORE POWER. SO TON OF REFRIGERATION IS DIRECTLY
PROPORTIONAL TO THE POWER ABSORBED IN COMPRESSOR.
REFRIGERATION EFFECT IS KNOWN AS THE LOAD THE ABOVE ANSWER
IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR SECOND QUESTION.
