what is the water hammering?..

Answer / vairaprakash

ASSUME A CLOSED VESSEL FILLED WITH WATER AND THAT VESSEL IS
CONTINUOUSLY HEATED SO THAT WATER GETS INTO STEAM. IF THERE

FORCES THE WATER UP SO IT PRODUCES A HAMMERING FORCE ON THE
VESSEL.
