Why Indian Electricity frequency desined 50 Cycles as
developed countrys are using high frequency with low voltage
Answer / acmsundar
In India we are using 50hz as a frequency. and other foreign countries are using 60hz and low voltage we are using three phases and they are using the six phases where the power usage is greater than ours.
So there is a power generation which is equal to the power consumption.but in our case our power consumption is less than others. so we are following 50hz.
and also frequency is also inversly propotional to voltage.
the power is in the form of form factor which is 1.11 our usage is 220V / 50 hz and others 110V /60hz
