18/12/2010...
so i congratulate to those who got selected and for those
who were unable to make to the final.... better luck next

hi my interview is on 4th october 2010........ i am totally
confused what to prepare and what not.... i dint even start
my preparation!!!

See shikha just a rough guess on how many candidates might
had been shortlisted....
see as given on the SBI site there are around 66 candidates
whose GD/interview which was scheduled to be held on 1 Nov
at patna has been rescheduled,,,,
So say if maximum a interview centre interviews 66
candidates a day,,,,and since interviews started from 4th
of Oct till 1 Nov say around 20 working days ,,,,,and as
far as i think we have following 9-11 interview centres
(just a Go)
hderabad ,bhopal,delhi,chennai,bubaneshwar,mumbai,ahemdabad,
,patna,(Thiruvananthpuram,,guwahati,,kolkatta - Not sure if
Interviews are happening here too)
so multiplying all 66*20*9 = 11880
very rough estimate i know but thought of sharing the same

hi srikanth
during interview some of the aspirants including me were
talking to the sbi official and he said that they are going
to select only 2200 - 2400 candidates as only 7300
candidates could clear the exam. i was also shocked bt this
is what he told. lets hope for the best!!!

hello sudip are you kidding us how can be your interview on
9 oct2010 when SBI site itself says that you can get your
permission letter downloaded after 18 oct if you do not
receive it till 19oct.IN sbi associates po in which i have
been alloted SBH ,the interview starts after the date of
downloading date.can you please explain it.

Dear Friends,I was a bindaas type of guy not bothering abt anything in life and becoz of this nature i lost around 2 lakhs in share markets last year. But now i want to change my self for my parents and want to do some thing for them by getting a Govt job. So i ll be really thankful if any body can suggest me should i try for Banking jobs or not. My strong points:1.Good Communication skills and english. 2.Very good knowledge about Indian ecconomy,Share markets,Banking,Corporates News etc. 3.Btech Degree 70% marks. 4.Good at mathematics during college and Btech days. What is the salary of a bank PO and what about the allowances and incentives.Joining as scale-1 how much rank we can go in 10 years? I m in S/W field and curently getting around 30K monthly salary and my current project(Microsoft) is a very long term project, so there is stability in my position for next few years.
