I got f1 visa rejected in dec'10, at t5hat time i did not mentioned my immediate uncles's name in Ds160 form who lives in US and has a citizenship.Now i am applying 2nd time. Do i have to mention his name although in first interview i told visa officer i do not have immediate relative in US? Is this the reason of my rejection? I am confused!!! please answer!!!!

Hi..i have done B.E in E.C and then worked as QA eng for 9 month.I have no work ex for 8 month as i was preparing for gmat and toefl also planning for further study.I am now going for MBA from Rutgers uni,camden.What i shd say if they asked me why i am not working since last 8 months?My Gmat score is 530/800 and toefl ibt score is 84.What r my chances of getting visa?

Hi Everybody, I'm Vineel From Hyderabad.I've done my B.E. in ECE with 72.3% and 8 backlogs(cleared in final yr) GRE=990 and toefl=86 .I've been rejected US F-1 visa to the SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, EDWARDSVILLE for MS in EE 3 times in oct,nov,dec 2009 for jan(spring) 2010 admissions in hyderabad. So i'm in dilema to continue and try this time for the Aug(fall) 2010 admissions or not. Pls give ur valuable suggestions or share ur experiences about how should i proceed. thnx in advance :)

I got the visa based on my admission in a university in Texas. That means that it is mentioned in my passport (visa page). I'm from sri lanka. i applied to enter the Univercity of North texas for the next semester. i done it through a local person. he is the one who handled all the document things. after paying my tutuion fees he took 6 more months to give me a reply. fianlly he gave me this I-20. but i have a small quiz. that is i don't know he has paid the money to the univercity which i have given him. if not after arrving usa, i will get a big problem. how can i make sure that everything is ok and i got the I-20 because the payment is ok?
