My H1 visa was filed through US employer in April 2008.
After one month (in may 2008), my current employer in India
initiated the L1 Blanket visa processing and i got the visa
in September 2008. I went to US and worked there on L1 visa
for one month and returned to India. In November 2008, i
have attended the H1 visa interview as it got picked in
lottary. During that interview, visa officer cancelled my
L1 visa and put a query on H1. But i failed to submit the
required docs by November 2009 as my US employer didn't
provide them. Now the same employer in India initiated L1
blaket visa and the interview is schedled in next week.
Could anyone share any information that would help me to
give my best in the coming interview?? Please post the
information soon if u have any.. Thanks in advance..

I currently have a B1-Business Visa, and i used it. Can i apply for an L1 visa after using the B1 visa? will there be a cool down period before applying the other visa?

I have my Visa Interview scheduled next week.My problem is that I have only applied to one university because I have made my home work on all the universities that offer my course work and I finally applied to this univeristy and got a admission decision in 2 weeks that I am admitted to the program for fall 2103. My surname is being mispelt in the degree certificate instead of AIYAR it has been mentioned as IYER. Other documents have the name as AIYAR and as per passport also it is AIYAR. Will this create a problem for my L1 visa. I am a Chartered Accountant and name in my CA certificate is AIYAR.

My L1 Blanket petition got rejected stating the Reason - Not clearly approvable. The option that they have selected on the blue form is : Your blanket L-1 application is not clearly approvable under section 8 CFR 214.2 (I) (ii) (D ) and INA 101 (a) (15) (L). You may not reapply using the same petition, but may reapply as the beneficiary of an approved individual petition. Can someone suggest me what should be my next approach . What type of visa should i reapply for ?
