yes the current will differ since the load applied and
voltage are same the single phase consumes more current
than 3phase anh hence the losses are high in single phase
than 3 phase system

i think that current will depend on star or delta
configuration of load.when it is star connected line current
=phase current so in this case current will remain same as
in single phase,while when load is delta connected current
will become /sqrt 3 times the line current and current will
vary in that case.
