considering the 3phase and single phase ac system the load
applied and the volage given is same...will the current
differs for both the cases are it wil remain same?

Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback

considering the 3phase and single phase ac system the load applied and the volage given is same.....

Answer / ramya

yes the current will differ since the load applied and
voltage are same the single phase consumes more current
than 3phase anh hence the losses are high in single phase
than 3 phase system

considering the 3phase and single phase ac system the load applied and the volage given is same.....

Answer / shyamkr

i think that current will depend on star or delta
configuration of load.when it is star connected line current
=phase current so in this case current will remain same as
in single phase, while when load is delta connected current
will become /sqrt 3 times the line current and current will
vary in that case.

considering the 3phase and single phase ac system the load applied and the volage given is same.....

Answer / monika hassan.

Because in single phase P =V*I and in 3 Phase P=√3*V*I.
current depends on voltage.

considering the 3phase and single phase ac system the load applied and the volage given is same.....

Answer / pranav

I think current will depend on star-delta of 3phase and due
to that Vph will vary and in accordance current will vary.....
