By load you mean the usage such as in buildings and factory's. There loads have a fairly large amount of magnetizing current (inductive) for motors, power supplies and ballasts. Transmission lines, which deliver energy from power plants to cities, have there own capacitve and inductive losses. The transmission lines also have to deliver large amounts of magnetizing currents for the loads mentioned.

i work as a technician at a private company.. i used to take amp reading for certain appliances such as air con.. the problem is when i clamp the neutral, wire there is a current reading.. from my understanding for single phase system neutral should not have current unless if the circuit is not complete.. yet the air con still work
