Various reasons for motor getting over heated.
1.Due to faulty bearings.
2.Due to low voltages.
3.Due to load fluctation from the drive end.
4.Due to mis assembly of motor.
5.Due to rotor fotness problem.

why there is no current in the rotor body althrough the flux linking with it also get changes. why current only flows in windinds not in rotor
