Hello Friends I am Prem Prakash Gupta from Jharkhand. I appeared in the first sitting. I came through both the sets and have drawn the conclusion between both the sets:-

As far as the reasoning & arithmetic portion is concerned both the sets were easy but the english paper of the 2nd shift was much harder in comparison to the 1st shift And the G.K. of 1st shift was harder than the 2nd shift. In the G.K. paper of the 2nd shift, there were several direct questions although there were many questions from ecomomics yet they were not much deep questions.But in the 1st shift there many questions from science and many of them were deep questions like +2 level.

So overall there was not much difference in the standards of the questions between the first and the second shift.Any one who has scored 50% be sure for their selection in Tier-I.

Pls share your opinion about my review over SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM-2010 (TIER-I)

In my view, the candidate who will score more than 45% will
make it to the 2nd tier as the number of candidates
selected will be much higher this time due to clubbing of
all vacancies this year. I think somewhere 80 thousand
candidates will be clearing tier-I exam. All the best

EVERY OTHER TIMES THE CUTOFF WAS BETN 120-125 BUT THIS TIME
WE HAD ENGLISH SECTION THATS WHY CUT OFF MAY RISE BCOZ ONE
CAN GET EXTRA TIME TO DO OTHER SECTIONS BY FINISHING
ENGLISH EARLIER.BCOZ ENGLISH HARDLY TOOK 20 MINS TO
FINISH.BUT LAST YEAR WE'VE GOT 100 MATHS QUES. DUE TO WHICH
CUTOFF WAS LOWER.THERE MIGHT BE 1 POSSIBLITY THAT 2ND SHIFT
EXAM WAS QUIT TOUGH THATS WHY CUTOFF MAY LOWERS DOWN.CUTOFF
WILL BE THE MEAN OF BOTH THE SHIFT.

also want to know when will the result of tier 1 will
declared...n also tell me is there any G.K paper occur in
