This is 100% correct answer.
60W Lamp is having more Resistance......
1500W Lamp is having Low Resistance......
B'coz 1500W lamp having low resistance mean, High Current
Flow through the Lamp(Tungsten Filament)....
if V=220Volts,
60w Lamp:
Power=VxI
I= Power/V
I= 60/220
I= 0.2727Amps
1500w Lamp:
Power=VxI
I= Power/V
I= 1500/220
I= 6.818Amps
So 1500w Lamp getting high Current
Now we find the Resistance of Each Lamp,
As Per Ohms Law, V = IR
60w Lamp
V = IR
R = V/I
R = 220/0.2727
R = 806.6667Ohms
Resistance of the 60w Lamp is 806.667Ohms
1500w Lamp
V = IR
R = V/I
R = 220/6.818
R = 32.2675Ohms
Resistance of the 1500w Lamp is 32.2675Ohms
Resistance of the 60w Lamp is 806.667Ohms
Resistance of the 1500w Lamp is 32.2675Ohms
Therefore 60w Lamp Get More Resistance than 1500w Lamp

Answer / deepak pandey
yes 60 watt lamp has more resistance than 1500 watt lamp
bcoz we know that
p = v.v/r
means if r is large then power will be less.
thats why in 60 watt bulb will have high resistance...

in ac case there is impidence not only resistance.think
about it.

Answer / shiva
power=v*I*cos(phi) in case of ac but in case of dc p=v*I. so the above answer is valid in the case of dc
