SFD is shear force diagram and BMD is bending moment diagram..

u draw a free body diagram of the required situation and
just balance the forces and bending moments at an arbitary
crossection..

u can refer any text on solid mechanics to get more details..

SFD STANDS FOR SHEAR FORCE DIAGRAM.NOW TO MAKE SFD DRAW A HORIZONTAL LINE.THIS IS THE AXIS IN WHICH WE WILL SHOW THE VARIATION OF S.F ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE BEAM.CALCULATE ALL THE Pt. LOAD or UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED LOAD EXERTING S.F ON BEAM.ALSO CALCULATE THE VALUE OF SUPPORT. START FROM LEFT END AND CALCULATE FORCE ON EVERY SPECIFIC PT. AT WHICH LOAD OR SUPPORT IS OCCURRING.TAKE DOWNWARD FORCE AS -ve & UPWARD AS +ve .CALCULATE NET FORCE BY ALGEBRICALLY ADDING THE FORCES ACTING AT THAT PT.IN THIS WAY SFD CAN BE DRAWN JUST LIKE ANY GRAPH.
BMD WILL BE TOLD ON YOUR REQUEST.JUST SEND YOUR REQUEST AND U WILL GET ANSWER OF EVERY Q. RELATED TO SFD AND BMD WITH PROPER DIAGRAM & EXPLANATION.
