If tester report a bug & developer is saying this is not a bug. What sud tester do in this situ..

Answer / radhika

If the developer is not accepting it as a bug then reasons
may be
1. it may be a feature and tester might has understood it
as a bug
2. tester may be following the old requirement whereas it
has changed for that feature where he has found that bug or
3.defect may out of requirement... so better go for
checking all these possibilities, it will enables to be
confident if none of these are true and report it to
TL/manager...

Answer / poonam

I think if the tester reports a bug and he/she is very much
confident on his/her finding than he should be affirm on
his findings and also with support of developer should
analyse it to know exactly root cause of it. Tester should
help the developer by doing all the steps again in
reporducing the bug.
