Right click the object in the universe which you want to
hide, you will find an option hide items apply that, it
will hide the objects from the user.

In WEBI there is a workaround, making the column width to zero and presenting the report

HIding object can be done at universe level -> select object - righ click - hide the object
HIding columns is done at report level -> select the column - right click - hide dimension
