Hi Rathnam, Dew Point Corrosion in Heat Recovery Steam
Generator(Boiler). In this HRSG one Condensate Reheating
Tubes module is provided. For this module we will give DM
water supply as a Feed Water supply. This DM water will be
at Atmospeheric temperature. To increase this water
temperature we will pass this water into CRH tubes. After
CRH the temperature should be mini 150deg.C. Unitll this
temperature reaches this water will Re-circulate itself by
Re-circulation pump. Afther getting 150deg, it will go to
Boiler Drum. In HRSG write-up, they written as "To avoid
Dew point corrosion in CRH, we have to heat the water upto
150deg".
Go it naa?
thank you

Suppose there are two vessels. One of diameter = D and other vessel dia = d. Suppose in vessel with dia D, water is filled upto height H and vessel with dia d is empty. Now both vessels are connected.Water will flow from D dia vesel to small d dia vessel.Suppose after equilibrium height of water in vessel with dia D is h. How much is h in terms of D, d,H etc?
