For Synchronisation the following parameters needs to be matched,
*Phase voltage
*Frequency
*Speed(RPm)
In auto operated DG sets the GCP will take care of matching this parameters, In manual operated DG sets there is an option for matching the Phase voltage and frequency(i.e joystick to adjust voltage and frequency).Since the RPM is depends on the first two factors, the speed will be matched if the first two parameters are same.

Why we are not placing c.B 's btwn generator and transformer.? what happens when generator gets disconnected from transformer when it is running @ full load?
