Normally we give the tool feed by means of hand wheel, but
it is not uniform. so we use the half nut. when we engaged
the half nut then the tool will move automatically in
longitudinal direction as per given pitch

i dont know wht is half nut,but thread cutting from 8 tpi to
4 tpi we can cut by using gera train,if the spindle is 2
time faster than feed screw,then we can hav 4 tpi.
