what is the role of half nut in thread cutting? how can u
cut the thread from 8 TPI to 4 TPI?

i dont know wht is half nut,but thread cutting from 8 tpi to
4 tpi we can cut by using gera train,if the spindle is 2
time faster than feed screw,then we can hav 4 tpi.
