Type test:
It is conducted on first prototype of product to confirm
the design specifications. This test is not repeated on
other products of same type.e.g, temp rise test
Routine test:
It is conducted on each product manufactured to confirm
proper maufacturing of each and every units. This test is
essential to be performed on each unit before distaching
the product to site.

i agree with the posted answers ,but my doubt is whether 1.Is the type test conducted on a sample product only or on one selected at random from different sample groups? Will periodical test come in the category of routine test and such tests should be conducted on all individual products in future?
