The Term RTCC means remote tap changer control Cubicle.The
RTCC is used to control the tap position i.e to increase or
decrease the voltage of on load tapchanger equiped with
transformer.

Following are the major equipments of RTCC.
1. AVR(Automatic voltage regulator)
2. Tap Position Indicator
3. Auto Manual Selector switch
4. Push Button for raise tap and lower tap
5. Buzzer for tap changing in progress
6. controls for tap changer driving motor
