what are the different things we test other than field level and form level validatons in functional testing
1 5136on what basis a tester writes test cases,i mean is it only based on FS and if so how can they know that a certain no of test cases can be written even b4 they write the test cases.bcoz a test plan contains how many test cases to be written by each tester.

I want to insert data in datatable during runtime. suppose i wrote datatble.value(1) = "Test data" so when i run the script it says column(1) doesn't exist. Then i write something in column A1 manualy and run the script again. Now it works fine. Pls clarify how i can put value in blank cell of datatable.

Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
