how we identify between current transformer and potential
transformer without having it name plate?
Answer Posted / savarkarshriram
If connected in circuit it can be easily identified whether
it is connected in series or in parallel. The one which is
connected in series is CT and in parallel is PT. Also it
can also be identified because PT comes with a fuse
arrangement in primary path whereas in CT you wont fuses.
