how do we calculate quantity of cement , sand and
aggregates in 1 m3 of M30 grade concrete ?
Answer Posted / tukuna das
M30 means , proportion 1:1:2 , so that
Total Volume = 1m3
we take 52% extra for dry volume , miss handling etc then ,
total volume = 1* 1.52 = 1.52 m3
Quantity of cement required = 1.52/(1+1+2)=0.38/0.035= 10.857bags = 11 bags
Quantity of sand required = 0.38*1=0.38m3
Quantity of aggregate required = 0.38*2 = 0.76m3
