voltages for transmitting power. Why not other voltage
levels.

reason behind is
that we need to
reduce power
loses in the form
of I^2R ,also to
reduce the voltage
drop along the
transmission line
in the form of IR
also to reduce the
size of the
conductor of the
transmission line
