Actually it depends on what h/w u use in ur co...some eg:
are SunFire3500/6800,SunBlade1000/2500,Sun Enterprise V240
Heterogenious means a mixed envirnment of Unix and windows,
as linux ,solaris are unix flavours its called homogeniuos.
