why earthing is not required on transformer prymary winding
side ???
Answer Posted / dj
Transformer Primary side is Delta Connected, so there we
dont provide Earth fault Protection thats why it is not
solidly earthed, only earthing is provide at transformer
body. But on the secondry side which is usually star
connected, we have to provide solidly earthing to neutral
so that we can use earth fault protection system.
