In a certain company 20% of the men and 40% of the women
attended the annual company picnic.If 35% of all the
employees are men . What % of all the employee went to the
picnic?

Let total employes = 100
then
men = 35
women = 65
men went to picnic = (20*35)/100 =7
women went to picnic = (40*65)/100 = 26
men+women went picnic = 26+7 = 33
